Hello everyone,
I've been pulling more time into PlaneShift lately and I've decided to create a ranking system to be competitive and fair with other guilds on PlaneShift. Ranks already attained will not be put in jeopardy. Vinkalor and Finkyli chains will have seperate ranking requirements.
Dhavathu Thilha
No requirements. Is not assigned to a squad. Translates to "Inexperienced Person".
Kore Nanol
No requirements. Kore civilian role. Blacksmiths and the like, non-military, and respected as any other Kore for their assitance to their clan. Translates to "Kore Freeman".
Vinkalor
Three fighting stats [STR AGI END] at 200, rest at 100. 30Sword, 30in any armour, 10 in CW. Non-Kore militia, used as support (healing and militarily, even scouts or light infantry) in battle and peacekeeping duties.Vinkalor are organised in Vejhadlol Squads. Kore Vinkalor is a shameful title reserved for those who's family took the civilian life and abandoned military practice. When proven as a Finkyli the shame is taken away. For Kore Vinkalor the rank has no requirements, just RP.
Vinalor Ylol
Three fighting stats [STR AGI END] at 300, rest at 200. 40Sword, 40 in any armour, 25 in CW. Recognised as stronger, athletic, well trained among the Vinkalors, the Vinkalor Ylol get more respect from Kore, even entering Kore Vejhadlol (squads).
Kore Finkyli [STR AGI END] at 200, rest at 100. 40 Sword, 40HA, 20RW. The core of Kore Pack's fighting force is the Finkyli, a metal-clad heavy infantry unit boasting fair fighting ability, organised in Vjhadlol (squads). The Irka Finkyli are famous for their touch of Red Way and fiery fighting abilities.
Kore Finkyli Ylol [STR AGI END] <<--One of these maxed, the other stats all at 200, 60Sword, 50HA, 30RW. Required to have attained Red Way Initiate Bracers.
Kore and Vinkalor Manthanols [STR AGI END] <--One maxed, other two 300, other three 200, 60Sword, 60(any armour for Vinkalors, HA for Finkyli), 60RW (Vinkalor and Ylol). Requires Adept Red Way bracers, fair length of time in the clan and a form of service to the clan (participating in a fighting conflict, runs a necessary service such as the library...etc...). Leaders of respective Vejhadlol are Manthanols and Kore Manthanols have their own Vejhadlol, usually referred to as the Nekaduky'alake (Master's Guard) or Nekaduky'arr'he (Master's Blood, referring to the tightness of the Vejhadlol containing the Master of the Clan, a model for other Vejhadlol in the Clan. Manthanol bear Adept Red Way bracers, exercising their magic competently and in doing so, the clan. Manthanol translates to "Wise One", "Veteran" or "Elder".
Kor Nekaduky'a Hereditary rank, no requirements. "Master for the pack". Bears the Irka Nekaduky'a Bracers.
Basically this will increase our competitiveness internally and externally. Squads (vejhadlol) will be given shared rooms in the Guildhouse. Vejhadlol will be set OOCly around people on at the same time where possible, allowing extended RP to be formed from squad life. Kore do not look down on heterosexual relationships formed in vejhadlol as they believe the offspring are better off with such a strong bond between the parents.
The vejhadlol will be encouraged to hold hunts, duelling practices, and the like, with vejhadlol perhaps taking turns to host a Clan sized event, such as the whole Clan going hunting, or A Clan Tournament, or the Clan Run Markets (of which the Nekaduky'alake runs, involving the entire clan in its organisation).
Other exciting additions to make playing in Kore Irka Clan and as an Enkidukai will be added to the game through Kore Irka Clan community contributions to PlaneShift, increasing enjoyment for everyone. This part is entirely optional, and is not in the requirements for that reason, though hard OOC work in that field would encourage a rank up.
Do feel free to discuss!
