Descriptions. They're very important. Descriptions are the only way in which other players can 'sense' features about your character, sights, smells, what they'd hear, etc.
As such, it's important that your character's description follows a few simple guidelines:
1) Keep it In Character and according to Settings. Don't add references to anything outside PlaneShift, unless using a simile, such as "Akaiddo has white and black fur, patterned like a white tiger."
2) Only include information on senses. What another character would see, smell, hear, how your character feels, and indicators of mood and posture. No need to include your character's lineage, friends, etc... this is information that should be gathered through roleplaying with you.
The reason I have made these rules is I have noticed and also been told about some descriptions that need fixing. Please ensure your description fits these guidelines and ask me if you have any questions.

This is only logical! But I think it would be awesome if there was a mind reading skill and certain parts of the description was blocked off to people who had a skill less then a desired number!
