It's come to my attention that an un-named person from our guild publicly insulted/grumped about GMs on the Hydlaa Plaza forums.
Let me lay down some more rules:
If you have an issue with GMs, take the appropriate channels and talk to devs/upper ranked GMs in PRIVATE. Don't go laying slanderous articles on ANY forums whinging about how they can't tailor to your every need.
Here's the reason behind this rule:
Your actions (especially OOC) affect others, especially the upper ranking members of our guild and myself. I personally got pointed to the article in question by a PlaneShift developer, read it and agreed that the person in question was out of line. Take note that his actions reflected on our guild as a whole, and there are people in our guild who wish to contribute/develop with PlaneShift. Actions such as a member of the guild attacking the devs and/or GMs can/will tar the rest of us as whiners and gripers.
From now on, if you think a GM or dev has treated you unfairly, please speak to me, and I will either direct you to the correct channels or take those channels myself to ensure you guys have an enjoyable playing experience.
Keep note that the entire PS GM/dev team are VOLUNTEERS, and deserve to be congratulated for their hard, unpaid, often thankless work, not spat on the way the person in the article I saw did.
I will not be referencing the article on this forum, I'll be more than happy to discuss the issue with the Manthanol Council.
Thanks guys, have fun playing PlaneShift, and don't make anyone else's PlaneShift experience, including the devs/GMs, less fun.
