Just saw the 'last online' times for KIC, and it turns out 36/37 characters have been online in the past week (and about half of them aren't newbies/lowest ranks). Now how do you move that active-ness into the forums, hmm ? *happy dance*

When I leave, everyone comes on?
Seriously it must be a bug... I haven't been on in a week and Mawlla passed away months ago....
But good that the activity is up! Direct the people here and I'll setup a "Welcome" topic.

That's mostly due to the new release and it's associated issues. Bugs, and the raised minimum specs. When I get back I will have a "cleanse" for all inactive players, but I'll take into account the release which was in December, and time it from there.
At the same time we should get another wave of recruitment going, and associated initations, first hunts, and the big bad word TRAINING. It might also pay to have a review of the systems and requirements we put on the last wave, see where it worked well, and where it didn't work well. We have 9 ranks, we really do need to start using them with effective flow between them.
PS I'm NOT advocating RANK NAME/STATUS CHANGES, but rather the way in which our members move from one to another.
Also might pay to do a thread bump on Hydlaa Plaza if you can please Dharke....

here's an unfinished stamp-smudge-like thing i'm doing with that bit. though, honestly, the thing in general looks too........................though i'd hate to say it, but asian to use as a main part of the picture. seriously, it reminds me of those calligraphy things of the ol' chinese kingdoms. or jap. but, besides that, i propose having a logo with that and two kore twirling around it (or crawling, whatever) one menki, one fenki. might be a tad too complex for a logo. but look @ royal house of purrty!

I LOVE IT. It'll make a perfect backdrop to the logo, which should include "Kore Irka Clan" in our typical font, and some sort of befitting object. It looks extremely tribal, very much Enkidukai in design. The colour you chose, a deep red, is perfect also, as red represents blood, war, passion, fire (Irka), and love. All things common in our guild LOVE IT.

oops, i posted that in the wrong thread.
really? i'd always imagined enki art to be more celtic or something. i'll save this version, and i'll complete my image of a 'finished' version then we'll compare the two. unless you're completely satisfied with this one.
The colour was for that purpose, of course.
As for any additional features...since we're the military clan, i guess it'll be something combat-related or something? nu idea.

Enki are sort of a mix of Celtic and African/Arabic cultures.
I'd suggest a shield, for the central part of the logo, most guilds have a typical Coat of Arms shield, I think we could make it a round shield, Enki style. I'd like to personally work on that part, adding tribal rotationalised art on a round golden shield (may be wooden with gold detailing) with each swirl and stroke having significance to the Clan history and culture.
Enki are similar to many 'indiginous' or 'native' peoples. Tribal, warrior based, tight knit around their clans and families, tying themselves to nature and the earth, hunter gatherers.

I'd like to personally work on that part By all means, please. I'll release my 'second' version before you get back. Yeah, i also thought it would be more tribal...which is why i didn't think eastern art would work. We'll see what the end result is like.

I thought you can delete them. anyway on topic I honstly have never seen our clan so inactive, the only players i find coming online is me, sometimes Akaiddo, and someone who no one knows is Leeyla who is an akkaio who I invited into our clan awhile ago but I think is in a different timezone and comes on at about 12 noon and leaves when me and Akaiddo comes on. but I had a half day on wednesday and she was on. anyways GET ON PEOPLE!
We should get a lot more recruitments going when the spawn points have been moved back to Ojaveda for Enkidukais.

I am not recruiting at this stage as I'm always at the Iron mine mining iron to re-stock our guild tria and then we will need some tria for the festival in June.
But other than that we need to push for spawn points to change back to Ojaveda for Enkidukais that way we could get LOADS of recruiting done.

I have done a lot of recruits lately hopefully these players will stay.
We haven't had many players stay most get recruited and then stop playing or leave, so we need to try keep the flow going well and keep them on by helping them as much as possible and making it fun!
